About J & S Grinding Co., Inc.
J & S Grinding Co., Inc. is a secondary machining company that has been in operation since 1987. The company is currently owned and operated by Shelley Schneider, who purchased the business in 2007. The company was formed when the original owner, who had worked in the powder metal industry, saw the need for grinding and other secondary services that could complement the PM industry. Shelley began working at J & S Grinding Co., Inc. as an entry-level employee in 1988. Later she became a shareholder and one of the company’s driving forces. Her love of the business and her relationships with the people are what persuaded her to buyout the previous owner when he was ready to retire.
